Normally it would be hard to find many musicians of his caliber who would actually offer to get their hands dirty while setting up. But Michael's not like most musicians. He has unique perspective that he picked up along with his tech skills while working as a studio rat in New York.
During his stint behind the engineering board, Michael met a lot of big-name musicians who gave off prima donna vibes to the staff. That's when he made it a priority to always respect the people who help get it done. He also swore to himself that he would never cop an attitude if he ever came up. He thought, even if he someday does reach superstar status, he would always be down to pitch in when he's needed.
