Vocals + Guitar

A constant current of music has driven Don Miggs all along. He has been jamming ever since he was a toddler, born with a God-given soundtrack playing in his head. He felt the music so much early on that he used to rock back-and-forth in his crib, which would eventually break when it slammed against the wall, freaking out his mother.

This musical spirit comes across from the moment you meet or talk to Don. He's overflowing with an energy that drives him to play. His passion shows itself the same when he's in the studio as when he's on the stage. He considers both disciplines as equally important to the creative process.

According to Don, a musician can create anything in the studio, and it will feed their artistic side, but they need to play live and share it with people to feel their true reaction. Which is what he is doing this summer, playing dates across the country, letting MIGGS fans sample the goods. So far the feedback has been super-positive, including some notable appearances such as the Nokia theater in New York with rock stars like Perry Farrell from Jane's Addiction and Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave.

Despite the rigorous tour schedule, MIGGS has managed to put together more than two dozen songs for the new record due out early next year. Don has drawn from his tumultuous past and his ability to overcome adversity as a theme. Don characterizes the music as more hopeful than past three MIGGS releases, but warns that doesn't mean it will be soft at all. He promises it will have plenty of honesty to sink your teeth into.

When it drops, this is going to be MIGGS fourth album. Over the years the music has gotten more polished, the harmonies more airtight and Don's confidence has grown immensely. But as an artist, Don Miggs is still pushing it, still exploring new territory, still rocking the crib until he shakes something loose.
